The bees worked hard this season, and our fall harvest shows it.
This is a dark, richly flavored honey, harvested from late summer and fall blooms surrounding our Northeast Ohio apiary. Goldenrod and buckwheat dominate this batch, giving it a deep color — almost molasses-dark — and a bold, complex flavor.
Expect warm caramel notes, a touch of vanilla and toffee, and a subtle herbal finish that lingers. It’s versatile enough for everyday use, but it truly shines paired with sharp cheeses, drizzled over roasted vegetables, or stirred into tea when you want something with real character.
Like all of our honey, this batch is harvested with the health of our bees in mind — never over-processed, never blended with imports, and never rushed.
